Magnesium Bisglycinate
Magnesium bound to two molecules of the amino acid glycine (a bisglycinate chelate). The chelate keeps the mineral bound as it moves through the gut, which is why this form is the one most commonly studied for sleep, stress and relaxation rather than for laxative effect.

Inorganic magnesium salts such as oxide are cheap and high in elemental magnesium by weight, but comparative pharmacokinetic work reports substantially lower absorption for oxide than for the diglycinate chelate. TruWe uses the fully reacted bisglycinate chelate — the form used in the sleep and anxiety literature — and pairs it with a phospholipid (liposomal) carrier used across the delivery-science literature to protect actives through digestion.
