Berberine HCl

Berberine hydrochloride (HCl), 300 mg

Berberine HCl is the salt used across the published metabolic and PCOS trial literature, including the AMPK mechanistic work. Is berberine in Liver Biome+?
No. Berberine appears only in Ova Balance.
Why HCl and not dihydroberberine?
Because the human trial record — including the PCOS and glycaemic meta-analyses — is built on berberine HCl.
Can I take it with diabetes medication?
Not without medical supervision. Berberine has documented metabolic activity, so combining it with glucose-lowering medication is a conversation for your doctor.
Does it need to be taken with food?
